1. Who operates the website and is responsible for privacy
Dagnew Amha, operating Ancra, operates this website and is the person responsible for the protection of personal information.

Ancra operates remotely and does not claim a physical Montréal or Québec office.
2. Personal information collected
The Website Review form asks only for information reasonably needed to evaluate and respond to an enquiry: name, company, optional website address, email address, service interest, message, and the language used for the submission. The form does not request sensitive personal information.
The hosting environment may also process technical request data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser or user-agent information, and security/server log data. Those logs are generated by hosting infrastructure rather than by a separate Ancra analytics script.
3. How information is collected and used
Information is collected directly when you submit the Website Review form and automatically where hosting infrastructure must process technical request data to serve and protect the site. Ancra uses enquiry information to review the request, assess fit, respond, arrange an appropriate next step, and maintain related legitimate business correspondence. The current form does not subscribe you to a newsletter or marketing list.
4. Form handling and email delivery
Website Review submissions are sent server-side to hello@ancra.studio. The application is configured to send website notifications using the domain sender forms@ancra.studio and the prospect's submitted email address as the Reply-To address. Ancra uses Hostinger Email for its ancra.studio mailboxes.
The application does not retain an additional local CSV/database copy of the enquiry and does not intentionally store enquiry data in browser storage. Submitted information may remain in Ancra's business mailbox and in infrastructure logs needed for hosting, security or mail delivery.
5. Hosting, service providers and cross-border processing
Hostinger provides the website hosting environment and Hostinger Email provides the domain mailbox service. Depending on Hostinger's infrastructure and account configuration, hosting, email routing and related technical processing may occur outside Québec or outside a visitor's own jurisdiction.
6. Retention
For unsuccessful or prospective Website Review enquiries, Ancra normally retains relevant correspondence for up to 12 months after the last substantive interaction, then deletes or anonymizes it when it is no longer reasonably required.
Information may be kept longer where reasonably necessary for an active dispute, a fraud or security investigation, the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or an applicable legal obligation. If an enquiry becomes a paying client relationship, relevant correspondence becomes part of the client/business records governed by the retention obligations applicable to that relationship.
7. Cookies and tracking technologies
The current site does not intentionally use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, session replay, advertising pixels, reCAPTCHA, embedded scheduling tools, advertising cookies, fingerprinting, or persistent tracking identifiers in localStorage or sessionStorage. The site does not set a first-party analytics or marketing cookie.
Because the audited website currently has no non-essential consent-requiring tracker, Ancra does not display an unnecessary cookie-consent banner. Normal server, security or technically necessary infrastructure processing may still occur. Before any future analytics, advertising pixel, session replay, tracking embed or other non-essential browser/device tracking technology is activated, Ancra will reassess the privacy/cookie configuration and implement consent controls where required before the tracker loads.
8. Fonts and third-party browser resources
This release serves its website code and brand assets from Ancra's own host and uses approved system fallback font stacks. It does not load Google Fonts or another third-party font CDN in the browser.
9. Safeguards
Current safeguards include HTTPS-oriented deployment, server-side form validation, a non-tracking honeypot for basic spam reduction, no client-side secrets or API keys, restricted private configuration files, security headers, and data minimization. Ancra does not claim that any website or transmission method is perfectly secure.
10. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct personal information, request deletion where applicable, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, or raise a privacy concern. Contact privacy@ancra.studio. Ancra may need to verify a request before acting on it.
11. Complaints and questions
Privacy questions or complaints can be sent to Dagnew Amha, Person responsible for the protection of personal information, at privacy@ancra.studio.
12. Changes to this policy
If Ancra materially changes how this website collects or uses personal information, this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date will change. A more prominent notice will be used where appropriate.
This policy describes the current website implementation and does not claim that Ancra or this website is legally certified, “100% compliant,” GDPR-certified, Law 25 certified, or guaranteed compliant with every law in every jurisdiction.
